TV Shows – The Wire

I just finished watching all 5 seasons of the Wire. I have to credit the show in getting me back into watching serialised TV. I am looking for other shows to watch and I think I will start of with The Shield. I don’t really want to talk much about the Wire because the last season is depressing to watch. I live in Australia and watching a show about another society and city is fascinating to me. For anyone who doesn’t know The Wire is a cop show set in Baltimore  focusing on the drug culture and the associated problems such as the deaths related to it. Each season has a different aspect such as from a political, newspaper media, school, police department or port smuggling view.
